10th International Cybersecurity Forum

The 10th International Cybersecurity Forum will take place on 23–24 January 2018, in Lille, France, under the theme 'Hyperconnection, the resilience challenge'. The event is organised by a Steering Committee composed of Région Hauts-de-France and Euratechnologies, the French Gendarmerie, and CEIS.

Aimed at promoting a pan-European vision of cybersecurity and strengthening the fight against cybercrime, the Forum will include a trade show focused on the sharing of knowledge and ideas), a forum to discuss and debate with experts, and an observatory to continue exchanging views and information after the event. The overall objectives of the initiative are to open up the cybersecurity debate by bringing together digital transformation players, risk management specialists, security experts, architects, developers, lawyers; speed-up the development of a European cybersecurity market; promote innovation in the service of digital trust; foster a holistic approach of cybersecurity to support organizations in their digital transformation; promote a combined  top down and bottom-up up approach to cybersecurity; and create synergies between the different ecosystems by building bridges between the private and public sectors, between industry and the academia, and between roles and trades. 

The two day event will feature 3 plenary sessions, 30 workshops, 10 talks, and other events. Topics to be tackled include, among others, cybersecurity and cyber resilience, international cooperation in dealing with ransomware, cloud computing and implications of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, cyber threat intelligence, security by design, and the proliferation of cyberweapons and international law.
