18 Avenue Louis Casai, CH-1209, Geneva, Switzerland

The Spamhaus Project (Spamhaus) is an international nonprofit organisation founded in 1998 with the aim to track spam operations and sources and to provide realtime anti-spam protection for Internet networks.

Spamhaus maintains a number of security intelligence databases and realtime spam-blocking databases responsible for keeping back the vast majority of spam and malware sent out on the Internet. More than 1.7 bilion Internet users mailboxes are currently protected by Spamhaus blocklists.

Spamhaus also works with law enforcement agencies throughout the world, assisting them in investigations into spam senders, phishing, botnets and malware operations, and compiling profiles, backgrounds, and evidence on spam gangs and spam operations.
