114th Session of the International Labour Conference
The 114th Session of the International Labour Conference (ILC) will take place from 1 to 12 June 2026 in Geneva, bringing together tripartite delegations from the International Labour Organization’s 187 Member States, comprising governments, employers, and workers. The Conference serves as the ILO’s highest decision-making body, where constituents deliberate on international labour standards, policy priorities, and institutional matters.
The agenda includes standing items such as the report of the Chairperson of the Governing Body, the report of the Director-General, programme and budget matters, and reports from the Committee of Experts and the Committee on the Application of Standards. Delegates will also review questions relating to the application of international labour standards and supervisory mechanisms.
Substantive items include a standard-setting second discussion on decent work in the platform economy, continuing work on regulatory approaches to new forms of work. The Conference will also hold a general discussion on advancing gender equality in the world of work, addressing persistent gaps and policy approaches across labour markets.
Additional agenda items include considerations related to the withdrawal of Convention No. 83, alongside procedural and administrative matters arising from the Governing Body. The programme spans plenary sessions and committee work throughout the two-week conference period.
