Geneva Peace Week 2025

Geneva Peace Week 2025 will take place from 13 to 17 October in Geneva under the theme ‘Peace in Action.’ The week will provide a platform for discussion, knowledge exchange, and collaboration on a wide range of peacebuilding topics, from conflict prevention and humanitarian response to environmental sustainability and social cohesion.

The programme includes sessions on new technologies, cybersecurity, and AI, examining the opportunities and challenges posed by digital transformation in fragile contexts. Specific sessions will address questions such as countering AI-fuelled polarisation, using AI to support decision-making in complex emergencies, and developing codes of conduct for responsible AI use in peacebuilding.

Another session will focus on peace and displacement in the digital age, exploring approaches to voluntary, dignified return through the Global Compact on Refugees.
