GITEX Africa
GITEX Africa 2025 will be held in Marrakech, Morocco, from 14 to 16 April, bringing together key players from across the technology, innovation, and investment sectors. This third edition of the event is set to be a significant gathering for global technology leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators, with a strong focus on Africa’s digital transformation.
The event will feature a broad range of themes, including AI connectivity and cybersecurity, fintech, health technology (HealthTech), AgriTech, climate technology, and innovations in education and sports. Through these sectors, GITEX Africa will aim to address pressing issues in Africa’s digital future, such as expanding broadband access, deploying 5G technologies, improving financial inclusion, and advancing sustainable practices in agriculture and climate-related technologies.
Several thematic summits are scheduled throughout the event. These include the GITEX Africa Digital Summit, which will focus on the continent’s push toward a unified digital economy; the Future Connectivity Summit, addressing broadband and 5G deployment; and the Digital Executive Forum, where topics such as AI governance and digital finance will be explored. A dedicated platform, the Diaspora Studio, will connect African talent abroad with innovation initiatives on the continent.
In addition to high-level discussions, GITEX Africa will provide a platform for startups and investors. North Star Africa will serve as a meeting point for startups and investors, while the Supernova Challenge—a pitch competition with a $110,000 prize—aims to spotlight emerging ventures. The Founders & Ventures Summit and a dedicated concierge networking program will further facilitate connections between high-potential businesses and financial partners.
In addition to exhibitions and forums, GITEX Africa 2025 will feature certified training programs, hands-on workshops, and a hackathon aimed at solving practical challenges through technology.
