The Digital Government Strategy for the period 2020 to 2023 is organized into principles, objectives and initiatives that will guide the transformation of the government through digital technologies. With it, Brazil seeks to offer public policies and services of better quality, simpler, accessible at any time and place and at a lower cost for the citizen.

Decree No. 10,332 of 28 April 2020 (amended by Decrees No. 10,996 /2022 and No. 11,260 /2022), in addition to legitimising, publicizes the strategic plan to all public administration bodies and society.

The government of the future will be:

Objectives

Guide and integrate the actions of all federal agencies with the goal of transforming government through digital means, offering quality, accessible, inclusive public services at a lower cost to society.
Prioritize integrated and collaborative actions to offer and use solutions shared by government agencies.
Use digital means to promote a transparent, participatory, safe and reliable environment for society in the use of digital public services. Stimulate the planning, development and application of innovative technologies to improve the construction, implementation and evaluation of public services and policies.
