Akanksha Singh

Ms Akanksha Singh has a Doctorate from the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (India). Her PhD thesis was titled 'Institutional Responses to the Advances in Communication Regime: A Study of the International Telecommunication Union and the Universal Postal Union'. She has previously published articles in reputed publications like-  International Studies, The Diplomat, Diplo, and South Asian Voices. She has presented papers at international conferences. She has also served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Delhi for more than three years. She is currently an independent researcher, exploring issue areas like- internet governance, cybersecurity and digitalisation in the Global South. Akanksha is a guest contributor to the Digital Watch Observatory.
