Opportunities include increasing international collaboration and developing niche AI applications, while threats involve rapid technological changes and competitive pressures.

Education and Human Resources

The NpAI emphasises the importance of integrating AI into educational curricula at all levels, from primary schools to higher education. This includes updating educational programmes to include AI-related topics and promoting lifelong learning to ensure a continuous supply of skilled professionals.

International Cooperation

Slovenia is actively participating in international AI initiatives, such as the EU’s Coordinated Plan on Artificial Intelligence and partnerships with UNESCO and the OECD. These collaborations aim to position Slovenia as a significant player in the global AI landscape.
