Brussels Declaration on Trade and the Internet

The declaration outlines a shared vision ‘to shape a joint future and to work together for prosperous, inclusive, fair, cohesive and sustainable societies for the benefit of our peoples’. It focuses on the ‘need to strengthen the multilateral system and to promote more effective and inclusive global governance’, and ‘to strengthen our dialogue, collaboration and cooperation on the global agenda and our positions in international for a.’ The declaration particularly looks towards the tackling of major global problems through increased cooperation, and in specific the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
