Facebook tightens live stream rules

In addition to the previously-announced measures tackling the spread of misinformation online, Facebook has also announced restrictions to its live stream feature by implementing the ‘one strike’ policy: as of today users that stream content which violates the Community Standards (e.g. terrorist content) will be immediately blocked from using Facebook Live feature for a set period of time. This decision comes after the live stream of the Christchurch terrorist attacks on 15 March 2019.
