The FCC’s Restoring Internet Freedom Order aims to protect an open Internet while enabling faster and cheaper Internet access for consumers. The framework for protecting Internet freedom consists of three parts: 

  • Consumer protection
  • Transparency
  • Removing unnecessary regulations to promote broadband investment
