Media Cybersecurity Seminar

The EBU held the Media Cybersecurity Seminar 2025, an annual event focused on cybersecurity in the media sector, with particular attention to the needs and challenges of public service media.

The 2025 programme included sessions on broadcast infrastructure security, cloud and hybrid environments, ransomware mitigation, regulatory updates, and the integration of security practices into media workflows. Contributions came from a range of stakeholders, including broadcasters, technology providers, and security specialists, offering diverse perspectives and experiences from across the sector.

This year, the seminar was held in close coordination with the EBU Network Technology Seminar (NTS). The two events took place on adjacent dates and feature several shared sessions, supporting dialogue between professionals working in media technology and those focused on cybersecurity.
