The International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT) is an organisation dedicated to enabling governments and other stakeholders to collaborate in the area of cybersecurity. It functions as a platform which brings together governments, industry and the academia to enhance the global community’s capabilities in dealing with cyber threats.

Since 2011, IMPACT has acted as the cybersecurity executing arm of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). In this role, IMPACT provides assistance and support on cybersecurity and cybecrime related issues to ITU’s 193 member states and also to other organisations within the UN system.

IMPACT has established a Global Response Centre, which acts as a cyber threat resource centre for the global community and provides emergency responses to facilitate identification of cyber threats and sharing of resources to assist goverments around the world. Another initiative launched by the organisation is the Centre for Training & Skills Developments, which provides training in cybersecurity. In addition, the Centre for Security Assurance & Research was created to assist governments in managing cyber-risks, through a centralised automated system that identifies weaknesses as well as measures compliance with multiple external and internal security regulation requirements.
