The discussion will explore how recent political developments in the USA and the concentration of technological power shape Europe’s position, including questions of dependency, regulation, and strategic autonomy.

The session will feature perspectives from Richard Werly, who will reflect on contemporary political trends in the USA, and Bruno Giussani, who will address Europe’s reliance on US-based digital infrastructure and related vulnerabilities.
