The 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as COP30, will be held from 10 to 21 November 2025 in Belém, Brazil. Hosted by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the meeting will convene parties under the Paris Agreement, the Kyoto Protocol, and related subsidiary bodies.

Over the course of nearly two weeks, delegates from nearly 200 countries—alongside observers from international organisations, civil society, business and academia—will engage in high‑level negotiations, thematic sessions and side events. Key themes include adaptation, infrastructure resilience, digital‑technology integration (including AI), health and human rights, energy transition, ecosystems and agriculture, and the mobilisation of climate finance.

COP30 will provide a platform for formulating new national commitments (Nationally Determined Contributions), scaling up financial flows, strengthening cooperation on nature‑based solutions, and accelerating implementation of climate action in this critical decade.
