US Supreme Court hears arguments by phone

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the US Supreme court will hear 10 cases on public teleconference call. This is the first time in history that the US Supreme court allowed cases to be argued and heard over the phone. This way of hearing arguments is set for two weeks, however due to the fact that many of the justices are in the group vulnerable to the Coronavirus, the change may last through October 2020 sessions.
