US Government asked the Court to cancel the hearing in the Apple-FBI case

Only a day before the scheduled Court hearing in the case involving FBI’s request for Apple to assist in unlocking the phone of one of the San Bernardino attackers, the US Department of Commerce has requested the Court to cancel the hearing. The government says it might have found a way to open the phone without Apple’s help, and would need some time to test this option. The request has been approved, and the plan is now for the government to file a status report in Court by 5 April.
