US court ordered the seizure of 67 domain names used for selling counterfeit drugs

A US federal court has ordered the seizure of 67 domain names of commercial websites involved in illegal sale and distribution of misbranded and counterfeit prescription drugs. The seized domains are now in the custody of the US government, being subject to forfeiture; individuals with an interest in these domains still have the possibility to contest the seizure and the forfeiture before a federal court. If no petitions are filed, or if the court does not rule in the favor of the petitioners, the domain names become US government property.
