UN report links e-government to implementation of the SDGs

The United Nations has released the 2016 UN E-Government Survey. The survey analyses how e-government is evolving and how it can be used in support of the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The report addresses how e-government can be used for policy integration, how open government data can enhance transparency, how to engage people through e-participation, and how to bridge (digital) divides. Finally, the report includes an e-government ranking, which is headed by the United Kingdom, Australia and the Republic of Korea.
