UN FAO creates agricultural water productivity monitoring database
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) is developing a publicly accessible, near real-time database to monitor agricultural water productivity. The publication ‘Water accounting in the Awash River Basin’ explores the use of the system concerning the Awash River Basin in the central Rift Valley of Ethiopia.
