TE, IBM, Red Hat collaborate to boost digital transformation in Egypt
Aiming at accelerating digital transformation in Egypt, Telecom Egypt (TE) announced its collaboration with software and IT technology companies IBM and Red Hat to develop telecom networks by using a hybrid cloud-based open source strategy. This is part of TE’s growth strategy to develop and update the country’s infrastructure to provide computing services, infrastructure services, and software services. According to TE Managing Director and CEO Adel Hamed, this also comes in response to the COVID-19 crisis which required all institutions to reconsider and change their business systems.
