South Australia government chooses Myriota to provide IoT communication for its satellite project

South Australia government chose Myriota to provide internet of things (IoT) communication for its planned SASAT1 low earth orbit satellite project. The SASAT1 project will provide information to improve state services such as emergency services, environment, water quality monitoring, mining, and bushfire mitigation. The SmartSat Cooperative Research Centre will lead the project, and the satellite will be designed and built by South Australian company Inovor Technologies. The project is scheduled for launch in 2022 and will last three years.
