Roscongress Foundation and UN Technology Bank sign cooperation agreement

During the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, The Roscongress Foundation and the UN Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries (UN Technology Bank) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation between the relevant organisations and business communities in the Russian Federation and the world’s 46 least developed countries (LDCs). The MoU, which provides a framework for the cooperation to enhance existing and to develop new and long-term partnerships, further entails the establishment of common communication platforms at the international level and the collaboration on areas related to investment and finance, export-import activities, and tourism and culture. ‘The inclusion of the UN Technology Bank’s agenda in The Roscongress Foundation’s work will create relevant opportunities for multi-stakeholder dialogue, collaborations, and partnerships in the science, technology, and innovation (STI) area,’ noted UN Technology Bank Managing Director Joshua Phoho Setipa.
