OneM2M and IoT Connectivity will work together to develop universal IoT standards

OneM2M (a global standards initiative) partners with IoT Connectivity Alliance (an alliance of technology companies formed by the Alibaba Group) to develop universal IoT standards. According to the agreement, both organizations will grant access to each other’s specifications, in draft and final form. The organizations will also extend invitations to each other’s meetings. OneM2M was formed in 2012 by the following standards development organizations: ARIB (Japan), ATIS (U.S.), CCSA (China), ETSI (Europe), TIA (U.S.), TSDSI (India), TTA (Korea), and TTC (Japan).
