Nozomi Networks issues IoT security report for first half of 2020

Nozomi Networks published an Internet of things (IoT) security report for the first half of 2020. According to the report, there was an increase in threats to IoT networks and especially IoT botnet, ransomware, and COVID-19 themed attacks. The report details the operating system of six IoT malware (such as Mirai, Dark Nexus, Mukashi, LeetHozer, Hoaxcalls, and Mozi.m) and six IoT ransomware (such as Maze, Ryuk, Sodinokibi, DoppelPaymer, SNAKE/EKANS) which were observed in the first half of 2020.
