Millions of Bulgarians’ data stolen by hackers

Hackers have stolen the data of 5 million Bulgarian citizens from Bulgaria’s National Revenue Agency. The hackers shared 57 databases out of 110 they claim to have stolen with the Bulgarian media. The databases contained names, personal identification numbers, home addresses, and financial earnings of affected taxpayers. ZDNet reported that the database has been shared on hacking forums by a hacked data trader known as Instakilla. Bulgarian prosecutors have indicted two men on terrorism-related charges over the breach.
