IGF’s BPF for IoT, Big Data and AI conducts survey

In preparation for IGF 2019, UN IGF’s Best Practice Forum (BPF) for IoT, Big Data, and AI published a survey, intended to help the BPF identify and define policy challenges related to the use of IoT, Big Data and AI and to collect best practices that address these challenges. The deadline for participation in the survey is 30 June 2019.

The Internet of Things (IoT) includes a wide range of Internet-connected devices, from highly digitalised cars, home appliances (e.g. fridges), and smart watches, to digitalised clothes that can monitor health. IoT devices are often connected in wide-systems, typically described as 'smart houses' or 'smart cities'.
