Google appeals against Canadian court decision to censor search results

Google, supported by more than two dozen human rights and civil liberty groups, is appealing against a decision taken by a Canadian court in 2015, which ordered Google to remove all its search results linked to a certain company, even outside of Canada’s borders. Civil liberty groups argue that the case could set a dangerous precedent of ‘individual countries trying to regulate the internet worldwide’.
