Estonia seeks to increase transport of e-commerce goods through the country

Estonian transport and communications companies in the e-commerce sector held meetings with partners in China to find opportunities to increase the transport of goods ordered online in e-commerce platforms through Estonia. Estonia expects that its fast handling of business, low level of bureaucracy, and good geographic location will attract the Chinese counterparts. The meetings are organized by Enterprise Estonia in collaboration with the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the Estonian embassy in Beijing. It is a follow-up to the agreements on economic cooperation signed during a trip of Estonia’s Minister of Entrepreneurship and IT, Urve Palo, to China in 2017.
