Emergency health alerts raise concern over privacy in South Korea
In order to deal with the rise in the number of individuals affected by the coronavirus, South Korean authorities have started sending out emergency health alerts to individuals with safety guidance measures to prevent the spread of the virus. The text messages raised concerns over privacy amongst the public given that they include information on individuals’ whereabouts.
