Digital tool developed to reduce GHG emissions from packaging
A digital tool has been developed by BillerudKorsnas that evaluates the environmental impact of packaging. The tool that performs life cycle assessment is expected to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50 % and contribute to a more sustainable form of packaging. The tool consists of large aggregated datasets with information on packaging material that allow for assessment of potential CO2 emissions when combined.
