Coca-Cola to use blockchain to fight forced labour
The Coca-Cola Company, the State Department, and several other companies have initiated a project where they will resort to blockchain technology to create a registry for workers to report cases of forced labour. The project that will rely on blockchain’s validation and digital notary capabilities emerged following a study released by KnowTheChain in 2019 which concluded that most food and beverage companies fail to address the issue of forced labour.
