Australia assists Vietnam in using AI for post-COVID-19 recovery
Australia is allocating AU$650 000 to an initiative aimed to enable the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to support post-COVID-19 economic recovery in Vietnam. Run in co-operation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology, the initiative will offer funding to support the development of AI solutions to deal with the consequences of COVID-19. It will also provide technical support for the implementation of Vietnam’s AI strategy and support the launch of training courses for stakeholders in the AI ecosystem. The initiative will be implemented between August 2020 and June 2021.
