Policy Reports

The Australian Human Rights Commission’s Advisory Notes on the Disability Discrimination Act are designed to provide background information on accessibility and legal issue, and to offer advice about how web designers and website owners can minimise the possibility of discrimination based on disability without sacrificing the richness and variety of communication offered by the web and web-based technologies. The version 4.1 (new version) includes specific advice concerning transitioning to WCAG 2.0 in the Australian context.
