In this resolution, the General Assembly notes the convening of an open-ended intergovernmental expert group which will conduct a comprehensive study of the problem of cybercrime. It will study responses to cybercrime by member states, the international community and the private sector; including the exchange of information on national legislation, best practices, technical assistance and international co-operation. The aim of the study is to examine options to strengthen existing and propose new responses to cybercrime.
