Resolutions and Declarations

The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice requests the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) continues to provide technical assistance and training to states, especially regarding prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of cybercrime. The Commission further requests that the UNODC strengthens cooperation on combating cybercrime with relevant international and regional organisations, as well as the private sector actors, including computer companies and Internet service providers (ISPs). The Commission also invites member states to continue exchanging views on ways and means for better targeting technical assistance. The Expert Group on the comprehensive study of the problem of cybercrime is invited to finalize the report on the deliberations of its first session.
