Plan of work 2013-2015 for the implementation of the plan of action for the information and knowledge society in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Plan of Work 2013 – 2015 (eLAC Plan 2015) sets out 8 main areas for the development of the information and knowledge society in the Latin America and Caribbean region. These 8 areas include: access, e-government, environment, social security, productive development and innovation, enabling environment, education, and institutional structure for policy. 

The document also identifies the challenges for the period 2013- 2015 such as debate on internet governance, infrastructural roll-out,  and ICTs and sustainable development. Lastly, it proposes recommendations for the challenges.
