ITU Resolution 133 on the Role of Administrations of Member States in the Management of Internationalized (Multilingual) Domain, aimed at increasing the role of ITU in Internet governance so as to ensure maximum benefits to the global community, instructs the Secretary-General and the Directors of the Bureaux, as well as the Council, to take necessary actions with regard to deployment and management of internationalized Internet domain names. The resolution also invites the Member States and Sector Members to take an active part in related international discussions and initiatives.
