Hans Burkhard Nix v. Germany

In this judgement, the European Court of Human Rights rejected a complaint made by a German blogger who argued that a picture of Heinrich Himmler wearing a swastika armband that he posted in a blog post violated his right to freedom of expression. The Court concluded that the German national courts had given relevant and sufficient reasons for limiting Mr. Nix’s right to freedom of expression.
