European Parliament resolution of 3 October 2017 on the fight against cybercrime (2017/2068(INI))

In this resolution, the European Parliament recalls that the fight against cybercrime is a priority under the European Agenda on Security of 28 April 2015. The Parliament stresses the importance of prevention of cybercrime. It highlights enhancing the responsibility and liability of service providers. The importance of police and judicial co-operation, and a common European approach to criminal justice in cyberspace are underlined, as is co-operation with third countries. The Parliament also calls for capacity building at a European level.
