Regulations and Policies

Directive 2006/123/EC aims to establish a single market for services within the EU. The Directive is intended to remove legal as well as administrative barriers to trade by simplifying the provision or use of services for businesses and consumers. It allows for an easier establishment of businesses, and provision of cross-border services. Moreover, it strengthens the rights of consumers, ensures a higher quality of services and improves transparency of service providers.
