The cybercrime legislation of commonwealth states: Use of the Budapest Convention and Commonwealth Model Law

The report provides information on legal measures taken against cybercrime in 33 Commonwealth countries, emphasising which country used the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime and/or the Commonwealth Model Law in drafting national legislation, and which countries expressed an interest in becoming a Party to the Convention. The report aims to assist the Commonwealth Working Group on Cybercrime in identifying good practices as well as the need for legal reforms in Commonwealth countries.
