Completing a trusted Digital Single Market for all

This Communication urges the European Council to tackle the remaining issues in the realisation of the Digital Single Market and ensure that the EU remains ‘a key player in the global race towards a data economy’. To this end, the EU needs to ensure that citizens have control over the information they provide online in order to build trust in how their data are protected and used.
