2018 Affordability report

The A4AI 2018 Affordability Report observes that inability to afford a basic internet connection remains one of the most significant barriers to Internet access. The Report therefore explores the following five points:

1. The present state of affordable universal Internet access across 61 low and middle income countries;

2. How policies tackling Internet access have evolved;

3. Which policy areas have progress the most and which require urgent action in terms of affordable Internet access;

4. How geography impacts the affordability of the Internet;

5. What policies are required to accelerate Internet affordability.
