The agreement describes an 'offence relating to computer information' as a criminal act of which the target is computer information, and it enumerates acts which are considered criminal acts by the signatories. The agreement further specifies that the co-operation between the parties of this framework shall be conducted directly between the competent authorities, based on request for assistance made by the competent authorities, which another party may refuse to execute if it would be contrary to its national legislation.
