TLDCON, an international conference for ccTLD registries and registrars in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Central and Eastern Europe, will hold its ninth meeting on 7-8 September, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The annual conference is organised by the Coordination Center for TLD RU, and it takes place in different countries in the region. It aims to foster discussions on Internet-related issues among ccTLDs registrars, as well as to encourage interactions between registrars and registries. This year's edition will be organised in partnership with the Technical Center of Internet, ICANN, the Georgian National Communications Commission, and will be hosted by Caucasus Online.
TLDCON 2016 will feature discussions on issues such as: Internationalised Domain Names, information security, ICANN activities, legislative aspects of domain names registration, and secondary domain markets.
