Symposium on The Future Networked Car

The 2017 edition of the Symposium on The Future Networked Car will take place on 9 March 2017, in Geneva, Switzerland. The event is organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and will be held in the framework on the 87th Geneva International Motor Show.

The Symposium will feature discussions on the status and future of vehicle communications and automated driving, and will examine advances in these areas, from the perspectives of business, technology, and regulation. Specific topics to be addressed during the event will range from connectivity, information security, and privacy to standards and interoperability.

Participants will include representatives of vehicle manufacturers, the automotive and information and communication technology (ICT) industries, governments, and regulatory agencies.
