The third annual meeting of the South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG) will be held on 24-25 May 2017, in Ohrid, Macedonia. The meeting will be hosted by the Agency for Electronic Communications, with institutional support from the Ministry of Information Society and Administration and the Macedonian Academic Research Network.
The meeting will bring together representatives of governments, intergovernmental organisations, the private sector, the technical community, and civil society, particularly from, but not limited to South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area. Discussions will focus on Internet governance issues of concern for the Internet community in the region. SEEDIG aims to raise awareness and promote a better understanding of Internet governance among stakeholders from South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area, as well as to facilitate multistakeholder discussions, exchanges and collaboration on Internet-related issue among these stakeholders.
The programme for SEEDIG 2017 will be built by the community, and a first draft will be made available in early 2017.
