The Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) on developments in the field of ICTs in the context of international security will hold its multistakeholder informal consultations on 2-4 December, 2019. Following its mandate (A/RES/73/27), OEWG invited interested parties, 'namely business, non-governmental organisations and academia', to attend the intersessional consultative meeting and 'share views on the issues within the group’s mandate.' Over 100 organisations have expressed interest to participate. The OEWG Chair has issued a Chair's letter to the participant of the consultations, which includes the meeting agenda. The contributions, as well as the meeting webcast, are provided at the dedicated web page. The group is asked to report on its results at the 75th session of the UNGA, in autumn 2020.
