OECD Global Forum on Digital Security for Prosperity

7 Jun 2021

Online

The 3d annual event of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Global Forum on Digital Security for Prosperity will be hosted by Israel and will take place virtually between 7 and 9 June 2021.

The main theme for this year’s forum is ‘Local challenges, global solutions: Building cyber resilience together in a post-COVID-19 world'. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted our global interdependences and accelerated our reliance on digital technologies. In a world of increased uncertainty and complexity, agile cooperation based on shared values will be essential to build cyber resilience. How can we work together to strengthen digital security both in normal and crisis times?

The forum brings together experts and policymakers to foster regular sharing of experiences and good practices on digital security risks and their management, as well as mutual learning and convergence of views on digital security for economic and social prosperity. Thematic events will be held involving policymakers, as well as experts from stakeholder groups, and will influence international public policy discussions, which could lead to policy recommendations both at the OECD and at other international fora.
